Ovation ukuleles use the same audio physics principles as their larger Ovation guitar cousins to achieve canon like projection from a soprano size, comfortable instrument. The ukes use a modified ukulele bracing pattern. The magic comes from the roundback Lyrachord® body. The first time you play one you will be surprised at how loud it is for its size. The tone is more rounded than its wooden counterparts due to the depth and the way the body scoops up the sound and projects it like a rocket out of the center soundhole.
