Description
Takamine's New Yorker-shape guitars are comfortable, sound great, and are one of the least challenging when it comes to managing performance dynamics. Smaller body guitars get good volume with minimal effort. This lovely instrument gets its tone from a solid spruce top and sapele back and sides. The overall tone is midrange-friendly, packed with great fundamental notes and less overtones when compared to larger bodied guitars. The GY21E SM is finished in our popular Satin Molasses finish, giving it a warm and rootsy vibe. Taking this guitar to the stage is easily accomplished with its versatile TP-3G electronics.
