Required Documentation

To activate tax-exempt status on your account, please provide:

  • Valid tax-exempt certificate — issued by your state or the federal government. Must be current and not expired.
  • Organization name match — the name on the certificate must match the organization name on your PlayMusic123.com account.
  • Account email — include the email address of your registered account when submitting your certificate.
⚠ Please Note Expired certificates will not be accepted. If your certificate expires, submit a renewed certificate to maintain your tax-exempt status. Verification applies to the registered account only and is non-transferable.

Bulk & Volume Orders

We welcome large instrument orders for band programs, music departments, school orchestras, and institutional music programs.

All orders — regardless of size — are placed directly on our website. Once your account is verified and tax-exempt status is confirmed, simply add items to your cart and complete checkout normally. Your tax exemption applies automatically. No quotes or special ordering process required.

  • W-9: Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification. Available upon request.
  • Section 889 / NDAA Compliance: PlayMusic123.com certifies compliance with Section 889 of the National Defense Authorization Act regarding covered telecommunications equipment. Documentation available upon request.

Shipping to Government & Educational Facilities

We ship to all government offices, school campuses, university buildings, military bases, and institutional facilities across the United States. Please note:

  • APO / FPO military addresses: Orders ship via USPS only. Oversize items cannot ship to APO/FPO addresses due to USPS size restrictions.
  • Freight deliveries: Large or oversize instrument orders ship via freight service. Please ensure your receiving facility can accept freight deliveries.
  • Signature required: All orders of $200 or more require a delivery signature at the time of delivery.
  • Multiple locations: Each shipping destination requires a separate order.
