Scherl & Roth student violas are hand crafted with solid spruce tops, maple back and sides, hand inlaid purfling and a hybrid lacquer/spirit varnish. Every instrument is hand adjusted in our shop and set-up with Prelude strings, ebony fingerboard and pegs, select French maple bridge and a composite tailpiece.
