His stick features a medium taper to a small ball-end tip, ideal for cymbal and drum articulation and nuanced drumming. Because of its resilience, responsiveness, and durability, hickory is the most commonly used wood for the classic drumstick feel. Promark's American Hickory drumsticks are available with wood tips, nylon tips, lacquer finish, natural finish, as well as our patented ActiveGrip and FireGrain technologies.
