Promark Artist Series American Hickory Matt Halpern Signature Stick Drum Sticks The Matt Halpern stick is a standard 16" in length and .630" diameter. Although 2B in size this stick plays more like a 5B. The short taper and large round tip give this stick a well-balanced, front weighted feel to optimize power and speed while producing full/robust tones from the drums and cymbals. Because of its resilience, responsiveness, and durability, hickory is the most commonly used wood for the classic drumstick feel. Promark's American Hickory drumsticks are available with wood tips, nylon tips, lacquer finish, natural finish, as well as our patented ActiveGrip and FireGrain technologies.
