The short taper and classic oval 5B wood tip gives this stick a well balance front weighted feel and optimizes power and speed while laying into the pocket - perfect for studio session work and outdoor festivals alike with a straight ahead back beat. Because of its resilience, responsiveness, and durability, hickory is the most commonly used wood for the classic drumstick feel. Promark's American Hickory drumsticks are available with wood tips, nylon tips, lacquer finish, natural finish, as well as our patented ActiveGrip and FireGrain technologies.
