Promark Artist Series American Maple SD4 - Bill Bruford Drum Sticks The SD4 was designed by jazz great Bill Bruford. It's extremely long taper allows for the ultimate response. The small barrel tip provides exceptional ride cymbal articulation. Maple is a very light wood that allows for a larger diameter stick without added weight relative to other woods. Smaller diameter maple sticks are ultra-light for precision and subtlety.
