Ernie Ball Everlast Light Coated 80/20 Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings - 11-52 Gauge. Everlast Coated acoustic strings use groundbreaking nanotechnology that repels unwanted moisture and oils that negatively impact your tone. Our proprietary treatment is applied to both the inner hex core and outer wrap wire to provide ultimate protection without compromising tone or feel. Made from 80% copper, 20% zinc wire wrapped around hex shaped brass plated steel core wire providing a crisp, ringing sound with pleasing overtones.

Long lasting and good sounding

Good coated strings that definitely last longer than standard uncoated strings. The 11-52 gauge is comfortable and the tone is bright and balanced. I found they were slightly brighter than my usual strings at first but that mellowed out nicely after a few days of playing.

Best coated strings I've tried

I've tried Elixir and several other coated brands and these Everlast strings match or beat them on both tone and longevity. The light gauge is comfortable for fingerpicking and strumming. The coating doesn't give that plastic feel some coated strings have. Really impressed.

These strings last incredibly long

I used to restring every 3-4 weeks but with these Everlast coated strings I'm going 2-3 months without a noticeable drop in tone quality. The 80/20 bronze gives a bright clear sound and the coating really does extend the life significantly. Great value over time even if the upfront price is slightly higher.
