Good flatwound strings

Solid flatwound strings with a warm tone and smooth feel. They took a little time to fully break in and mellow out but sound great after that initial period. The 9-42 gauge is lighter than most flatwounds I've tried which makes bending much easier while keeping that flatwound character.

Great flatwounds for jazz

These strings have the classic flatwound feel and tone I was looking for. Very smooth under the fingers and quiet on the frets. The cobalt material gives them slightly more output than traditional flatwounds. Good for jazz, blues, and rockabilly. Will be reordering.

Smooth feel with great tone

I play jazz and blues and these cobalt flatwounds are perfect for my style. The smooth surface is comfortable for long sessions and they produce that warm, mellow tone flatwound strings are known for. The 9-42 gauge is lighter than most flatwound sets which is nice for bending. Really happy with these.
