The TAKAMINE Japan HE5C Hirade is handcrafted in Takamine's pro facility in Japan that has been building precision quality instruments over five decades.

A sterling example of the luthier's art, this classical guitar bears the name of Master Luthier Mass Hirade. It features a solid cedar top for warmth and broad dynamic range and a solid rosewood back for excellent projection. Gloss natural finish provides durability and adds to the beauty of the guitar. Hirade instruments are designed and built to stand beside the finest classical guitars made today.

Includes Takamine's proprietary CT-4DX Cool Tube preamp system. The dual-channel CT-4DX provides low-voltage tube tone, variable from bright and brilliant to thick and warm, three band EQ with semi-parametric midrange, auxiliary input and volume (for use when a second pickup is added), and an onboard chromatic tuner.
